Setup Payables Period
Payables Period needs to be opened to enter transaction in that period. Payables period is the GL period with status relevant to payables. Since GL calendar may vary in different ledgers , payables period from different ledgers may be different .
Click “AP Period Status” in AP Setup to find the payable period status of all periods.
Status - Open, Closed . You can “Open” a closed period or “Close” an open period.
Start date - Gl Period start date
End date - Gl Period end date
Close Date - last period close date.
To Open Next Period , click “Open next Period”
